There is a story behind
La Mona earrings… 🙂
At the right photo you see the earrings from GaleriaAurus on www.JewelryLessons.com. She named them “My first”:). They don’t look as a “first” at all, so she did a great job! She made them in technique of needlework with silky cotton cords (soutache) with Swarovski crystal. You have to admit that they looks wonderful!
I said to her that I will try to make them with beads… So, it was also a chalange for me…Nice chalange…
So, my inspiration was GaleriaAurus and her earrings “My first :)” And her inspiration was Dori Csengeri. What a circle 🙂
I did some modifications, otherwise they will be too long if you ask me, or maybe not… 🙂 Anyway, it’s a lot of beading 🙂
I made them using 3 D Right angle weave with embellishment… At the beginning, I was thinking to make them with Square stitch, but then I realized it’s much easier with 3 D Right angle weave.
