My friend Lone makes and sells great bags, hats, lucky elephants etc. on Etsy, too (http://dolphus4ever.etsy.com) . She asked me to make some decorative buttons for her new bags. She gave me a piece of fabric and told me that she wants something with orange color and “Do it baby!”
We bought were sure that that fabric has some orange spots… But, when we look that fabric on a day light :)… “Well, it’s not orange, hard for me to admit, but you are right” – she said. Anyway, I continued with my “orange” one 🙂
So, I did a second one (both are done with circular peyote stitch) and she was totally impressed! Me too! 🙂 Now, I am hardly wait to see her bags with those buttons…
I am going to sell them on Etsy soon in the category “Decorative buttons”. I think that a lot of things with a good buttons could be gorgeous! Those buttons are 3.5 cm diameter.
