What were you doing all day?

A man came home from his work and found his three children outside in the yard, still in pajamas, all muddy, empty food boxes, and packages of chocolate scattered by the entire garden. His wife’s car doors were opened. The dog also was not there.

When he entered the house, he found even bigger mess. The lamp was destroyed and a carpet crumpled next to the wall. TV was working very loud, and the room was swamped with various toys.

The kitchen sink was full of dirty dishes, the food was scattered on the table and floor. The refrigerator door was opened, on the floor was broken glass and in the middle of the kitchen there was a small pile of sand.

He quickly went upstairs, jumping over a bunch of toys and clothes. He was very concerned. “Maybe his wife is sick or something happened to her” – he was thinking.

Small stream flowed from the bathroom. He looked inside and saw a pile of wet towels, water flowed from sink and the bathtub was full of dirty water with foam.

Miles of toilet paper were outstretched over the bathroom.

He  rushed to the bedroom and there he found his wife in pajamas reading a book.

Looked up at him, she smiled and asked: “How it was at work?”

Looking in disbelief he asked her: “What happened here today?”

She again smiled and said, “You know that  every day you come home,  you are very nervous and yelling at me: “What were you doing all day?”

“I know” – he says.

“Well dear, today I didn’t do anything!” she says, continue reading.
