My dear, no hard feelings :) "As I told you before, sailing is a man's world" is in connection with a previous post "Penguins and Polar Bears Trek". There I wrote about man's stories about sailing and what they are talking about when they are together (or how far they can go in “stupid stories” what make them laugh). Also, it’s a fact, because I am living on a sailing boat, and in every marina I come I see that 95% of the population around me, are men. I didn’t mention that women are not capable for sailing (or that they are less capable than man); especially I can not say that, because I am a sailing woman and that is my way of life now. And one example: I don’t have that much experience and miles like my Man, but I can dock the boat better than he(I hope he will not see this:)). For your info, docking a boat is something what is always a “drama” and a lot of men are in panic about that… The point is: I admire any woman who is brave to make such extraordinary step in her life (especially when we are talking about a girl 16 of years old!) Doesn’t matter or that is "sailing around the world" or to say to her Boss:”Now it’s enough, I want a higher salary!” :) And finally, I am also proud of Jessica Watson, because she put some typical “women things” in her trip like her pink lady “Ella’s” :). I see her also like a trend setter woman in sailing... My well-intentioned advice to you: before you start to judge about someone (in your life), inform yourself a little bit more and then shoot baby! :) Anyway, I don’t have that judgmental attitude in my life toward people. I accept people like they are and I think that because of that my life is easier. Ok... during the night can be a little bit cold, but what a hell! Just for your info :) Well, I don't have any more that "Monday stress", but I have other types of stress. So, we all have something... But, I found a great way to enjoy life more: I have started to make jewelry. Glass perls... I enjoy totally. Soon, I will put my "art" on blog. I will also try to sell it.
