Body sushi – Nyotaimori
We all remember Samantha Jones in “Sex&the City” and her “body sushi” for a Valentine’s Day.
Interesting erotic game and her great idea is actually extremely rare practice of serving sashimi or sushi from the body of naked woman in Japan, originally called Nyotaimori, which means “female body presentation”.
This sexual fetish is a subdivision of food play. As a result of being served on a human body, the temperature of the sushi or sashimi comes closer to body temperature, which some may see as a disadvantage or a benefit.
On the other hand, Nantaimori refers to the same practice using a male model.
Person, who decides to become a living sushi platter, has to lie for hours without moving. She or he must also be able to withstand the prolonged exposure to the cold food. Body hair, including pubic hair would be shaved, as a display of pubic hair may be seen as a sexual act.
Before service, the individual would take a bath using a special fragrance-free soap and then finish off with splash of cold water to cool the body down somewhat for the sushi.
Anyway, I would call this just “interesting erotic game”, because using the food on the body is always popular between couples. In this case it’s a sushi (because it’s almost everyday food in Japan), for rest of the world could be something else (most of the time whipped cream, fruit, chocolate…). Depends what you like to eat…:) Can we call that fetish? In that case most of us have that sexual disorder
If you want, we are reading all the time in a lot of magazines (women’s or men’s magazines: “Top five/ten/bilion… food in bedroom”) how some “specialist/sexologist/therapists” recommend to us to refresh our sexual life with those kind of games. It’s probably ok. if that not going too far… that we can enjoy only if we are eating from other person body.

Lucky they eat in Japan with chopsticks and not with a knife and fork
