Believe
What we believe and why we believe it governs our thoughts, words and actions, and goes a long way towards defining how we live out our daily lives. Today we are talking about friendship.
We believe:
- That we don’t have to change friends if we accept that friends may change.
- That just because two people argue it doesn’t mean that they don’t love each other. And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do!
- That no matter how good a friend is, they are going to hurt us every once in a while. We must forgive them for that… and vice versa…then move on!
- That true friendship continues to grow even over the longest time and distance…the same goes for true love.
- That my best friends and I can do anything or nothing, and still have the greatest time together.
- That sometimes when I am angry I have right to be angry but never right to be cruel.
- That when friends reject me, for whatever reason, I just go right on loving them.
- That it may not always be enough to be forgiven by others…sometimes we have to learn to forgive ourselves.
- That no matter how badly our heart is broken, the world does not stop for our grief.
- That two people can look at the same thing and see something totally different.
- That my background and circumstances may have influenced who I am, but I am responsible for what I become.
- A wise friend is someone who always calls me a good egg…even when they know I’m slightly cracked!
- The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything – they just automatically make the most of Anything.
to be continued…
